HOUSTON - Hunter Veith and Gavyn Yetter highlighted the Shockers performance on day one of the Shirley Crow Meet on the Campus of Rice University. Veith enters the final day of competition in the lead of the men's decathlon after scoring 3,897 points in the first five events of the competition. Yetter will begin day two of the women's heptathlon in second place with 3,149 points.
