EUGENE, Ore. - Wichita State incoming track and field student-athlete Kord Ferguson, the nation's top high school track and field thrower, threw 201'-0" in the discus throw to win the discus throw event during day one of the USA Track and Field Junior Outdoor Championships on Saturday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Freshman track and field student-athlete Isaac Poe also competed at the USA Track and Field Junior Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries.
